there was a post about musical star trek where spock is the one guy who doesn’t understand how everyone is singing and harmonizing but i say no

bones as the one guy who doesn’t understand why everyone is singing and what the hell is this choreography. because i want you to imagine this: bones getting very confused and going to ask spock what the hell is going on and spock turns around and starts singing too

star trek is about accepting and loving everyone regardless of who they are or where they come from and enjoying new experiences and star wars is about challenging yourself and overcoming obstacles to better yourself and others and i think both messages are equally important

and j.j. abrams is here to fuck both of them up for money

“If we cannot learn to actually enjoy those small differences, to take a positive delight in those small differences between our own kind, here on this planet, then we do not deserve to go out into space and meet the diversity that is almost certainly out there.”

I think Star Trek The Motion Picture was better than the criticism it gained.

The creators did a really good job leaving the viewers just as clueless about what was going on as the Enterprise crew.

Also, the chemistry between Kirk, Spock and McCoy was even more interesting than usually and in my opinion, V’Ger had a seriously fascinating concept.

Yeah, I know, I should not make reviewing movies a major part of my life.
