On rare years when the conditions are right in the arid landscape of the Badlands, in the American West, wildflowers burst into a display of colour for just a few days.
The vegetation in the region has adapted to the climate, with just a small amount of moisture the desert can become coloured with sweeping fields of Scorpion Weed, Beeplant and the flowers of the Pincushion Cacti. These blooms can be very short-lived to conserve moisture.Photographs by Guy Tal

Miyajima Deer The deer are a symbol of Miyajima and you can see them elegantly wandering the island everywhere. The deer are sacred and believed to be a messenger of the gods in Shinto. They are treated very well by the locals and aren’t afraid of people.
I’ve been on the road with my sister for the past two weeks in search of beautiful places. We’ve gone all over Oregon and Northern California, seeing some of the most amazing lakes, mountains, rivers, beaches, and forests. The world is so full of beauty. Allow nature to fill you up when you feel loneliness or fear. We are all so lucky to live on such a beautiful planet.
