If you think vegetables are the only food other than meat, you must have a seriously limiting diet.
Especially since you don’t need to eat meat. In fact, study after study after study after study after study after study after study after study after study after study after study after study after study (trust me, I can keep going) shows that vegans and vegetarians have everything from reduced rates of multiple cancers, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and stroke, to improved rheumatoid arthritis and reduced mortality compared to omnivores.
Besides, who gives a shit about the horrible environmental degradation and pollution caused by animal agriculture when you can have cheeseburgers?

When your personal choices cause that much damage and harm to others, you don’t get to escape criticism because you enjoy them.
If I enjoy setting forest fires (which would cause less deforestation than meat does), I don’t get to use my enjoyment of arson as a shield from criticism.
If you feel guilty when presented with facts, that might be a hint that you’re doing something wrong.
