Dratini sounds great! It is cute, but not weak and it can evolve into Dragonir Dragonair (ah, the eternal struggle with using the English names instead of the ones I grew up with).

Also, a mirage ragon based on sea serpents/ Jörmungandr/ the Loch Ness Monster/ the Chinese Long is pretty awesome, I think!
