This is very important because this is what I’m always trying to tell everyone when they go: “Picasso was not a great artist blabla I can do better than that blabla” because no, you can’t. He chose to do this in a time when nobody else did and he knew how to do it the mainstream way, he knew about color and shadows and body structures and he was very good at it, but that is simply not all there is about art.
