What book-to-movie adaptation was so bad you just had to laugh at the incredulity?
Percy Jackson, both movies and Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children
Yeah, though i dont know if i laughed at PJ so much so as i yelled at it
ERAGON. I was reading the book when the movie came out, couldn’t wait for the ending so watched the movie while I was halfway through the book. The dragons are so ugly and the story has been adopted very badly.
I disliked His Dark Materials/ The Golden Compass so much. The books are so heavy and rich and analytically observational and critical (esp of the church) and deal with trauma and very large topics, and then the film was so bland.
And every HP film was boring to me compared to the books.
