WHats going on in Nigeria?

• 2,000+ people were murdered by terrorists, this has been named the worst massacre of the boko haram. (source)
• the same terrorists strapped a bomb to a 10 year old girl and placed her in a busy market square, killing 19 people at least. (source)
• there has been another attack by the same group, and they are killing more people and are burning down the town (source)
• nearly 70 schools have been forced to close or are damaged because of the recent violence (source)
• the gunmen are reported to have kidnapped at least 172 women and children; this is not their first kidnapping. (source)
• the school girls from #bringbackourgirls have still not been returned, and the mothers of these girls are now turning to the UN as no one else, including their government, seems to care anymore (source)
• some people in attempts to escape the boko haram massacre have drowned in the lake near baga in their attempts (source)
• boko haram have taken over a multinational military base (source)
• they have also kidnapped at least 40 boys and men. (source)
