#self harm for TS #I was crying when he was telling this story #because he was trying to be funny and make light of it #but you could see in his eyes #even from the back row #how he KNEW how vulnerable he was making himself #and just #misha #you share things with us that most people don’t share with their closest friends #your life #your ups and downs #and you do it all with a smile #even when it hurts #especially when it hurts #and people wonder why I admire you so much #IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SCRUFF OR HANDS OR EYES #IT HAS TO DO WITH HEART

And I want to add, just look at Misha. He’s a well off actor, he has a lovely wife and two awesome kids, and a big fanbase. He started a charity, he has broken world records. He is an all around amazing man
Just think, he was once “that fat kid”, he was picked on, he self harmed. He was at the point that so many teens are at right now.
And look at him now.

This is why Misha is one of my role models. Not just because he is the fantastically weird and happy person he is (but that, too), but because he is living, breathing proof that it’s possible to get out of self harm and those nasty things, and make something beautiful of yourself, and have a fantastic life.
